The symbol represents hardiness, toughness and perseverance.

The stole has a black background, red, gold & green stripes, and letters/symbols in gold.  Lettering can be woven up to three (3) lines, with a maximum of ten (10) characters per line" on both sides. The stole is approximately 72 in. x 4.5 in. Individually handwoven in Ghana, West Africa.
